0xMonero, summary of findings

Edit: There was prior work by Artemiscult I didn't know about from a month ago!
Hi, this is a summary of my findings on 0xMonero, which claims to be "a mineable privacy focused project".
The contract was deployed on April 18th of this year, verified on Etherscan the same day, announced on Twitter soon after. It was announced on Bitcoin Talk about ten days later. 0xMonero's contract is an uncredited rip of 0xBitcoin's with only very small changes. The mining software recommended by 0xMonero was written for 0xBitcoin. There are two other more modern miners written for 0xBitcoin, but up until recently, they have only supported pool mining, not solo. My suspicion for why 0xMonero recommends the older miner is that they don't have anyone competent to run a mining pool.
Here's 0xMonero's stats page, and here's 0xBitcoin's. Look familiar? 0x1d00ffff wrote that page for 0xBitcoin about a month after the 0xBitcoin project started in February 2018. Here's the initial commit, and here are the changes 0xMonero made. When 0xMonero ripped it, at least they left the author's Etherscan link at the bottom.
Here's 0xMonero's official GitHub. As of now, there are 20 repos, but they are all forks, zero original repos. I've been told that 0xMonero has ten developers. When I asked to see their GitHub accounts, I was told that they were all too concerned with privacy. That doesn't make sense to me, since I've been doing anonymous development under various identities for years. Here's the account associated with my work for 0xBitcoin, and here's another project I work on with other anonymous developers.
Why does 0xMonero make reference to Monero? I don't know. As far as I can tell, 0xMonero has nothing to do with Monero. I can say with certainty that since 0xMonero's contract is an almost identical copy of 0xBitcoin's, and 0xBitcoin deliberately did not include privacy features, there are no privacy features in the 0xMonero contract. They would have to be elsewhere. But as far as I know, there is no other code to look at.
Here's a piece-by-piece analysis of the claims on 0xMonero's site:
Here's a thread started by DigitalInvestments2 who claims to be a top holder of 0xMonero. In that thread, I asked many direct questions, and was not able to receive any clarification or substantiation of any aspect of what 0xMonero says they are working on.
When I couldn't get answers in that thread, I reached out twice to the official 0xMonero Twitter account asking them to start a thread where it would be possible to get answers. I got blocked. At the same time, I was blocked by another related Twitter account. Here's that account lying about 0xMonero's (nonexistent) privacy features.
I started talking about this stuff on 0xMonero's Bitcoin Talk thread about a week ago. I have been unable to get any answers there, either. But someone in that thread reported me. For what, I don't know.
I think that's it for what I know about 0xMonero at the moment. Please let me know what you think. Thanks.
Edit: Here's that related Twitter account lying about 0xMonero's nonexistent privacy features again.
Edit: lying about 0xMonero's nonexistent privacy features again, and AGAIN. Suggesting to people that 0xMonero is somehow private is dangerous.
Edit: ... lying about privacy again.
Edit: agreement about 0xMonero most likely being a complete scam from a second source: https://twitter.com/CryptoScamCases/status/1292753105097031680
Edit: lying about privacy again. Noticing a trend with 0xMonero and lying?

Groestlcoin 6th Anniversary Release

Introduction

Dear Groestlers, it goes without saying that 2020 has been a difficult time for millions of people worldwide. The groestlcoin team would like to take this opportunity to wish everyone our best to everyone coping with the direct and indirect effects of COVID-19. Let it bring out the best in us all and show that collectively, we can conquer anything.
The centralised banks and our national governments are facing unprecedented times with interest rates worldwide dropping to record lows in places. Rest assured that this can only strengthen the fundamentals of all decentralised cryptocurrencies and the vision that was seeded with Satoshi's Bitcoin whitepaper over 10 years ago. Despite everything that has been thrown at us this year, the show must go on and the team will still progress and advance to continue the momentum that we have developed over the past 6 years.
In addition to this, we'd like to remind you all that this is Groestlcoin's 6th Birthday release! In terms of price there have been some crazy highs and lows over the years (with highs of around $2.60 and lows of $0.000077!), but in terms of value– Groestlcoin just keeps getting more valuable! In these uncertain times, one thing remains clear – Groestlcoin will keep going and keep innovating regardless. On with what has been worked on and completed over the past few months.

UPDATED - Groestlcoin Core 2.18.2

This is a major release of Groestlcoin Core with many protocol level improvements and code optimizations, featuring the technical equivalent of Bitcoin v0.18.2 but with Groestlcoin-specific patches. On a general level, most of what is new is a new 'Groestlcoin-wallet' tool which is now distributed alongside Groestlcoin Core's other executables.
NOTE: The 'Account' API has been removed from this version which was typically used in some tip bots. Please ensure you check the release notes from 2.17.2 for details on replacing this functionality.

ALL NEW - Groestlcoin Moonshine iOS/Android Wallet

Built with React Native, Moonshine utilizes Electrum-GRS's JSON-RPC methods to interact with the Groestlcoin network.
GRS Moonshine's intended use is as a hot wallet. Meaning, your keys are only as safe as the device you install this wallet on. As with any hot wallet, please ensure that you keep only a small, responsible amount of Groestlcoin on it at any given time.

ALL NEW! – HODL GRS Android Wallet

HODL GRS connects directly to the Groestlcoin network using SPV mode and doesn't rely on servers that can be hacked or disabled.
HODL GRS utilizes AES hardware encryption, app sandboxing, and the latest security features to protect users from malware, browser security holes, and even physical theft. Private keys are stored only in the secure enclave of the user's phone, inaccessible to anyone other than the user.
Simplicity and ease-of-use is the core design principle of HODL GRS. A simple recovery phrase (which we call a Backup Recovery Key) is all that is needed to restore the user's wallet if they ever lose or replace their device. HODL GRS is deterministic, which means the user's balance and transaction history can be recovered just from the backup recovery key.

ALL NEW! – GroestlcoinSeed Savior

Groestlcoin Seed Savior is a tool for recovering BIP39 seed phrases.
This tool is meant to help users with recovering a slightly incorrect Groestlcoin mnemonic phrase (AKA backup or seed). You can enter an existing BIP39 mnemonic and get derived addresses in various formats.
To find out if one of the suggested addresses is the right one, you can click on the suggested address to check the address' transaction history on a block explorer.

ALL NEW! – Vanity Search Vanity Address Generator

NOTE: NVidia GPU or any CPU only. AMD graphics cards will not work with this address generator.
VanitySearch is a command-line Segwit-capable vanity Groestlcoin address generator. Add unique flair when you tell people to send Groestlcoin. Alternatively, VanitySearch can be used to generate random addresses offline.
If you're tired of the random, cryptic addresses generated by regular groestlcoin clients, then VanitySearch is the right choice for you to create a more personalized address.
VanitySearch is a groestlcoin address prefix finder. If you want to generate safe private keys, use the -s option to enter your passphrase which will be used for generating a base key as for BIP38 standard (VanitySearch.exe -s "My PassPhrase" FXPref). You can also use VanitySearch.exe -ps "My PassPhrase" which will add a crypto secure seed to your passphrase.
VanitySearch may not compute a good grid size for your GPU, so try different values using -g option in order to get the best performances. If you want to use GPUs and CPUs together, you may have best performances by keeping one CPU core for handling GPU(s)/CPU exchanges (use -t option to set the number of CPU threads).

ALL NEW! – Electrum Personal Server

Groestlcoin Electrum Personal Server aims to make using Electrum Groestlcoin wallet more secure and more private. It makes it easy to connect your Electrum-GRS wallet to your own full node.
It is an implementation of the Electrum-grs server protocol which fulfils the specific need of using the Electrum-grs wallet backed by a full node, but without the heavyweight server backend, for a single user. It allows the user to benefit from all Groestlcoin Core's resource-saving features like pruning, blocks only and disabled txindex. All Electrum-GRS's feature-richness like hardware wallet integration, multi-signature wallets, offline signing, seed recovery phrases, coin control and so on can still be used, but connected only to the user's own full node.
Full node wallets are important in Groestlcoin because they are a big part of what makes the system be trust-less. No longer do people have to trust a financial institution like a bank or PayPal, they can run software on their own computers. If Groestlcoin is digital gold, then a full node wallet is your own personal goldsmith who checks for you that received payments are genuine.
Full node wallets are also important for privacy. Using Electrum-GRS under default configuration requires it to send (hashes of) all your Groestlcoin addresses to some server. That server can then easily spy on your transactions. Full node wallets like Groestlcoin Electrum Personal Server would download the entire blockchain and scan it for the user's own addresses, and therefore don't reveal to anyone else which Groestlcoin addresses they are interested in.
Groestlcoin Electrum Personal Server can also broadcast transactions through Tor which improves privacy by resisting traffic analysis for broadcasted transactions which can link the IP address of the user to the transaction. If enabled this would happen transparently whenever the user simply clicks "Send" on a transaction in Electrum-grs wallet.
Note: Currently Groestlcoin Electrum Personal Server can only accept one connection at a time.

FAQ & Daily General Discussion - December 22, 2017

Welcome!
As only 2 stickied threads are possible, we have decided to combine the "Are you new here" and the daily discussion thread. XRB is attracting more and more people, both veterans and newbies in the cryptoworld. As XRB is quite a bit different than other coins/blockchains, it's normal that a lot of users have (the same) questions. So please, before making a new thread, read this post first and use the search bar! Threads that are created which contain a question to which an answer is available here, will be locked and directed to this post.

Guidelines for posting in this thread:

Questions, debates, meta issues, etc are all welcome. Breaking news should be posted separately from this thread. Rules:

Be respectful to one another. Follow the golden rule. No trolling or shilling.

Guidelines for posting new threads:

Is your thread something that does not fit in the daily thread or in another 'general' thread? Do you have a question, and it's not in the list below? Do you have exiting news to post? Did you use the search bar first? Good, go ahead :-)

The Whitepaper: In logical order, we start with the whitepaper. It contains the complete details about RaiBlocks, including some more technical details. Even if you're not technical, take a quick look at it. It will explain a lot! https://raiblocks.net/media/RaiBlocks_Whitepaper__English.pdf

The FAQs: Now the technical FAQs, a document explaining how it works, how it compares to other coins, ... https://raiblocks.net/media/RaiBlocks_FAQ.pdf

Let's keep a decent overview of other, more practical questions :-)

How do I buy or store XRB? Check out these guides: https://www.reddit.com/RaiBlocks/comments/7i0co0/the_definitive_guide_to_buying_and_storing/ https://www.reddit.com/RaiBlocks/comments/7iv89b/how_to_buy_xrb_without_waiting_for_a_transaction/

My desktop wallet isn't syncing! Do the numbers between the brackets still move? Good. The numbers before the parentheses are the number of blocks the wallet has verified, the numbers between parentheses is the amount of downloaded-but-not-yet-verified blocks. Is the wallet unlocked? Good, it needs to be unlocked to be able to sync. Still nothing? Go to 'accounts' - 'use account'. Still nothing? Close the wallet, reopen it.

What is a representative? Ah, so you haven't read the whitepaper haven't you... When conflicting blocks arise, a vote will have to be cast on which block to accept. Since you won't be online 24/7, you can outsource your voting power to a representative, who are online 24/7. They cannot access your funds, and you can change it anytime.

What is the incentive to run a node? Apart from helping the network and making it more secure, this user gives a detailed answer: https://www.reddit.com/CryptoCurrency/comments/7j4xgt/i_just_sent_1000xrb_from_one_wallet_to_anothedr4l587/

My transaction isn't visible in my wallet or it says 'not pocketed' on the block explorer! Is your wallet fully synced? Yes? Good, it needs to be completely synced before it will show your balances. Nothing? Go to "https://raiblocks.net/account/index.php?acc=ADDRESS HERE". Do you see the transaction there (as 'not pocketed')? Good, that means that it's just a matter of showing it in your wallet, the coins are linked to your address already. In your wallet, go to 'Accounts' - 'Use account', 'Back', 'Advanced' - 'Search for receivables'. Did it work? Good. If not, go to 'Advanced' - 'Account explorer', hit refresh. Still nothing? Close/kill the wallet and reopen it. Still nothing? Go to 'Advanced' and change the unit from Mxrb to xrb and back to Mxrb. Stillll nothing? Fine, make a thread!

The syncing is sooo slow!! On HDD, it can take a couple days for it to sync. Why? Every block is only 400bytes in size, they all need to be written on your HDD. SSD takes about 12h. Check the bottom of this post for a shortcut if you use HDD (or SSD and have no patience :-) ).

My withdrawal from BitGrail/Mercatox isn't working!! BitGrail and Mercatox are having quite some issues, both due to a bug in their RaiBlocks node, and because of being overwelmed. They have to do each withdrawal manually. Log a ticket and have patience! Mercatox support: https://mercatox.com/support BitGrail support: to be added when they're back

We need a new exchange & website & ...!! Indeed, large exchange would be super!. But before that, we need a new website, mobile wallets, ... Those are in the make. Don't ask about the new exchanges, no one knows!

What is the incentive to run a node? There is no monetary reward, but tread this post/comment! https://www.reddit.com/CryptoCurrency/comments/7j4xgt/i_just_sent_1000xrb_from_one_wallet_to_anothedr4l587/

We're limited to 7k TPS, how's that scalable!? The current limitation of 7K TPS is a hardware limitation of writing data to the disk, not a protocol limitation. As hardware improves, so will the TPS limit.

Does the receiver account have to be online when I create my send transaction? No, whenever the send transaction goes out, the funds are "not pocketed" by the receiver. The funds are as good as the receivers and cannot be revoked by the sender. "Not pocketed" funds do NOT expire.

What are "not pocketed" funds? A transaction consists of a "send" and a "receive" transaction. During the period where a "send" doesn't have its partnering "receive" transaction, the accounts are considered "not pocketed" by the recipient. "Not pocketed" funds are securely the receiver's funds. Once the receiver's wallet comes online, is fully synced, and unlocked, the funds will automatically be signed into their account chain.

What are the requirements to run a node? Currently the only real recommendation is to have a fast storage medium, such as an SSD instead of HDD. This is because currently the full node software does a lot of disk I/O for rapidly processing transactions. This may change with future full node versions that better utilize available system RAM and relax disk I/O.

What do the numbers at the top of the desktop wallet mean? The numbers will look like: processed (unprocessed downloaded) Where "processed" is the number of downloaded blocks that your node has processed, and "unprocessed downloaded" are blocks that your software has downloaded but not processed yet. To be fully synced, all blocks must be processed. As new transactions are created on the network, they will be downloaded into the "unprocessed" category to be subsequently processed.

How can I run a full node? The desktop wallet is already a full node! Just by running it you are helping

Can I send funds to my wallet before it is synced? Yes. Funds can be sent to any "xrb_" address, even if they were created in an offline environment. RaiBlocks is exactly the same as ethereum or bitcoin in this sense. The funds will show up when the wallet is fully synced with the network. Make sure to back up your seed!

How do I backup my wallet? Just write down your seed and keep it in a safe place. All accounts generated from that seed will be generated again (in order) when you restore that seed.

Can I reuse an address? Yes, unlike IOTA you can reuse addresses like in Bitcoin and Ethereum. Please understand the reasoning for this; IOTA does this because it is a drawback to the quantum-proof digital signature algorithm they use. RaiBlocks' current digital signature algorithm is not quantum proof, but the devs have expressed interest in changing to a quantum-proof algortihm as the field matures and quantum computers become a more significant threat to the network.

What's up with the units? Currently the ticker XRB on exchanges represents 1 Mxrb (or million xrb). As the name suggests, 1Mxrb = 1000000 xrb. The smallest unit of RaiBlocks is the raw. There are 1024 raw in an xrb, or 1030 raw in an Mxrb/XRB. Whenever people are talking, they are generally talking in XRB or equivalently Mxrb

What is the max supply? The max supply is 133,248,290 XRB. For units see the question above. Why this number? Well RaiBlock's value is kept in a uint128 variable (unsigned 128-bit integer). An uint128 has max value (2128)-1, which is approximately 340,282,366,920,938,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000. This was the original number of "raw" in RaiBlocks. RaiBlocks was distributed via a Captcha faucet distribution system; of which 133,248,290 XRB were distributed. Due to some non-technical issues, the faucet distribution was cut short and the remaining quantity was burned. This leaves just 133,248,290 XRB (approximately 133,248,290,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 raw) circulating.

Can someone access my funds even if I use a password (desktop wallet) Yes. The password feature of the desktop wallet just encrypts the seed locally on your computer. If anyone gets access to your plaintext (unencrypted seed, the thing we tell you to backup) they have access to your funds. The benefit of the password is that if someone has access to your computer, they don't immediately have access to your raiblocks.

Whats a seed? What's a private key? Whats a public key? Any time you set up a Raiblocks address (such as creating a new wallet) , you will be provided with a "Seed" which is 64 characters of text that is unique to your wallet. Do not store your seed online (e.g do not screenshot, email or save it in a file) because anyone with the seed can access all accounts on it and take all of your Rai! The reason why it is provided is so that if for any reason you need to recover your account(s) you can do so without the original wallet you created the account on, so keep it safe!

Tips & Tricks * Transferring BTC between exchanges can be expensive and relatively fast (think hour(s)), or cheap and slow (think a few days). LTC or ETH transfers are faster, but make sure to check the discrepancy in BTC-LTC or BTC-ETH prices on markets with low volume! * 1 XRB as bought on an exchange is 1 million xrb, aka Rai. 1 Rai = 1024th raw, the smallest units on the RaiBlocks network. * 'Not pocketed' can stay like that indefinitely. If you want to spend the coins, you'll have to sync your wallet and create a 'RECEIVE' block though (this is done by Advanced - Check for receivables in the desktop wallet).

Dogecoin Core 1.7.0 released - Check in here for all info you need

Hi shibes!
The Dogecoin developers are proud to announce the final version of Dogecoin Core 1.7! After lots of coding, testing and swearing this is the next version of our reference client. It brings Dogecoin one big step forward on the technical side of things, with moving to the Bitcoin 0.9 codebase.
The full release notes are available here: https://github.com/dogecoin/dogecoin/releases/tag/v1.7.0
TL;DR of the release notes
Is this mandatory? No, you can stay on 1.6 if you want for now. This update adds quite a few new features you'd miss out on.
How to update?
  1. Backup your wallet! This is very important! Go to File -> Backup Wallet, and save this file in at least two safe places for a good backup.
  2. Exit the client you're running now.
  3. Install the update
    1. For Windows, use the setup.exe to update. If you are using the new 64bit version you'll need to uninstall 1.6 afterwards.
    2. For Mac just overwrite the version you currently have in you Applications folder.
    3. For Linux you'd overwrite your current dogecoin-qt binary with the new one.
  4. Start the client. That's it :)
About going back to 1.6 Once you go to 1.7 there is no easy way back to 1.6. That's why it's important to have a backup of your wallet. Just in case. Be aware that a backup goes out of date after 100 transactions! Several people have been running 1.7 for a while now and see no problem with it, so you probably don't want to go back anyway ;)
Downloads (Listing here this time to make it easier to find)
Changes from RC1
Staying up to date If you want to easily stay up to date with releases, you can subscribe to the mailing list right here: http://sourceforge.net/p/dogecoin/mailman/dogecoin-releases/ That's especially advised if you are a service provider!
General comments For anyone running an exchange, please also note that in light of the 51% attack against Reddcoin last night, the Dogecoin developers now recommend a minimum of 10 confirmations for payments into an exchange.
Thanks Thanks to everyone who contributed so far! Especially leofidus-ger, rnicoll and patricklodder, who have done by far the most of the work for this release. But of course thanks to everyone else who contributed, may it be advice or code or whatever. Also thanks to the Bitcoin developers. And of course thanks to the Dogecoin community! You are what makes it fun to work on all this ;)

SND ANNOUNCEMENT THREAD

SND ANNOUNCEMENT THREAD
Website | Discord | Twitter | Snode Service Announcement |BOUNTY CAMPAIGN

Snode - The Future of Masternode Services
Snode is an innovative blockchain-based ecosystem that aims at providing an integrated environment for multiple blockchain-based services. The core value of Snode is masternode solution with a wide range of high quality masternode services. Other services and products introduced in Snode’s Eco System include digital assets, blockchain project support, multi-coin mining pool, etc.
https://preview.redd.it/y2c9c5x96mx11.png?width=2553&format=png&auto=webp&s=f3b758ca03c17adb7a8e5dc64425ebcf7f66af57
Dedicated masternode Within a few clicks, you can become a sole owner of dedicated masternode. Dedicated masternode is the highest rank and benefit the most from economy view point: the lowest fee compared to those of other types of masternode, withdrawal requests do not need to wait for 72 hours for being approved.
Shared masternode Shared masternode, on the other hand, gives investors with small capital an opportunity to own a masternode without having collateral.A group of investors gather coins as shares to start a masternode. The reward is then divided equally among investors within the group.
Instant Masternodes While shared maternode really helps small investors, all its shares must be fulfilled before it can be started. This sometimes takes time and is inefficient. With the coordination from blockchain's development team, Snode has introduced instant masternodes lately. Instant masternode, while preserves all advantages from shared masternode, takes no time to be started because it is already filled. After sending the coins in a dedicated masternode, investors do not need to wait for their investments to start making benefit.
Truth-less Masternodes Hosting You will not need to send in masternode collateral. Snode will guide you through the steps that help you setup your own masternode using Snode's infrastructure. Your coins will never leave your wallet and the rewards come directly to your wallet.
Automated accounting & Payment With this unique feature, the distribution of rewards is accurate; rewards are precisely calculated up to 0.00000001 (yes, eight numbers after the dot). This feature does not only help in rewards distribution, but it also helps automate all payment processes, i.e., refund of the investment, payment of the bonus, etc. AND, more importantly, this new payment mechanism helps us reduce the network fee to 50%.
Referral Bonus System For every referral, you get 20% bonus from all the referred people deposit as long as they still get rewards, and you can withdraw this bonus with zero withdrawal fee.

Snode's Masternode Service project was introduced to the public in April, 2018 while it was in beta phase. Within 2 months of running beta with early investors, we had achieved a notable result:
✓ Two months after beta launch, we experienced a geometric growth in our user base with little or minimal marketing effort, i.e. we have more than 1200 users, with more than 100 active users. ✓ We have recorded nearly $300,000 in total deposit, with an average daily payout of $2000+. ✓ More than 120 masternodes have been set up till date, and more than 60 are currently active. ✓ Our retention rate is outstanding, most of our early investors reinvested . ✓ More than 10 major and minor versions of the web portal have been released to address investor's requirement and much more.
But that was 2 months ago. What do we have now?
2500 users, with more than 500 active users
Over 1,500,000$ worth of coins have been deposited, average daily payout of 25,000$.
5000$ worth of referral bonus has been paid.
40 masternode coins have been supported.
900+ masternodes have been setup, nearly 500 of which are running
90%+ of investors reinvested after their first investment.
15 major and minor versions have been released
100% happy customers

It looks like everyone has answered your questions. Ive been here a few weeks as have some of the other guys. I have multiple full nodes hosted through Snode.co ( I think 6 now) . I started with some lesser expensive ones to test the service ( I recommend you do that as well so you can see how everything works) I am very happy with everything so far. The daily payouts are broken down very nicely and its easy to track your investment. I have also canceled a node and received all of my my coins back safely within 24 hours. I have no affiliation with Snode.co but I would recommend their service to anyone who is looking for a trustworthy company for hosting MNs. I plan on doing a full detailed writeup after my first month is complete.

To protect the snode team I wanna say that I’ve looked for another available masternode services in the internet and I found out that snode service is just simpler and easier in interface, menu and many other things, everything, is clear for me. All the problems are always solved in time. All the announcements are available and are always in time too.
If u don’t believe me, just look out for other services. Be glad, that u have the chance to work with these guys and service is not private. And fees are probably low. Other services has bigger fees. Coldinsky / Link

Snode Coin is released with the mission of providing a convenient way for our customers while investing into all projects in Snode’s Eco System. Snode Coin is essentially a hybrid system. In addition to the traditional Proof-of-Work (PoW) and Proof-of-Stake (PoS) concepts, Snode Coin also employs the most beneficial crypto-earning method - masternode. Powered by Neoscrypt - a well-known ASIC resistant crypto algorithm - during PoW phase you can all have chance to earn Snode Coins by using consumer grade hardware’s like CPU and GPUs. During PoS phase, the most recent PoS protocol, PoS v3.0 is used.

Masternode has been widely considered as a critical component of upholding a blockchain’s network and the most beneficial passive income earning method. With that in mind, masternode is one of our main focuses while developing SnodeCoin and it indeed plays as one of the key elements in driving SnodeCoin economy. SnodeCoin masternode is a full node which has a copy of the whole SnodeCoin network. It is associated with a frozen collateral of SND on the account of the masternode owner. The masternode owner will be rewarded the payment of 80% of rewards from a block for their services (e.g., decentralizing the SND network, validating SND transactions, etc.). This amount of masternode reward is fixed no matter what the blockchain is in the PoW phase or in the PoS phase.

Sucre (SUCR) X11 based cryptocurrency POW, Masternode, Private and Instant Send

Sucre cryptocoin is easy to access, transparent and highly trustworthy. Using the respected X11 hashing algorithm, Sucre is extremely secure and allows transactions to be made instantaneously. It provides an attractive alternative for those who missed the Bitcoin boom.
In technical terms, Sucre is more advanced than Bitcoin and differs from the Sha256 Algorithm by being much less resource intensive. It also has a transaction capacity of up to 8 times greater on the blockchain, stake holder governance, incentivized full nodes (Masternodes), instant transactions and protocol level privacy support.

SPECIAL HTMLCOIN WORLD MEETING JUNE 17, 2017.

TOPIC: SPECIAL HTMLCOIN WORLD MEETING JUNE 17, 2017.
AGENDA: TO DECIDE THE DETAILS OF THE WALLET UPDATE AND RELATED MATTERS.
TIME: JUNE 17, 2017, AT 10:30 AM BRITISH SUMMER TIME (BST).
PARTICIPANTS: ATTENDED BY 27 INDEPENDENT DEVELOPERS AND COMMUNITY MEMBERS.
COUNTRY OF ORIGIN: THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, THE UNITED KINGDOM OF GREAT BRITAIN AND NORTHERN IRELAND, THE REPUBLIC OF THE PHILIPPINES, THE PEOPLE'S REPUBLIC OF BANGLADESH, THE FEDERATIVE REPUBLIC OF BRAZIL, THE ISLAMIC REPUBLIC OF PAKISTAN, THE REPUBLIC OF SINGAPORE, ROMANIA, THE FRENCH REPUBLIC, THE UNITED ARAB EMIRATES (DUBAI), THE REPUBLIC OF COLOMBIA, THE UNITED MEXICAN STATES, THE REPUBLIC OF INDONESIA, THE SOCIALIST REPUBLIC OF VIETNAM, THE REPUBLIC OF INDIA, THE REPUBLIC OF BULGARIA, AND THE RUSSIAN FEDERATION.
WE AGREED ON THE FOLLOWING:
ABSTRACT
• We decided that Blockchain will not be reversed as requested by Bleutrade but we offer a possible solution. • We invited a Cryptocurrency Expert and a Computer Science faculty to help us understand the technical problem. • We are implementing checkpointing for Htmlcoin to hinder and stop hacking risk and future attacks. • We are releasing an updated wallet. • We want to understand more about the Bleutrade Insolvency Enigma. • Summary of the meeting and Implications of our decision as a community.
DETAILS
1. We, HTMLCOIN Developers and Community Members in attendance, decided that Blockchain will not be reversed from April 25, 2017, until the present date of this meeting. 1.1. The request of Bleutrade to reverse the blockchain was not granted by the core team. However, we offer them a possible solution for their claim of insolvency of 5.6 Billion by swapping the claimed lost coin to a new coin. It is important to note that not all of their holdings are lost, if any. We are waiting for their response on this offer. See section 5 - 5.5 for more information about Bleutrade Insolvency Enigma. 1.2. We are looking forward to resolving this issue of insolvency claim with Bleutrade because we were part of this exchange since their early days in 2014, Bleutrade is a family to us. 1.3. We believe that reversing will do more harm than good. If the blockchain will be reversed, it will erase all 1 month worth of transaction, that would be a bigger disaster. 1.4. If we reverse the blockchain this would mean that all transactions conducted from April 25, 2017, to date will be nullified, all transactions thereafter will turn to zero. Reversing the wallet is NOT an option.
2. We invited a cryptocurrency expert, Peter Bushnell, a former constituent of The University of Oxford, and Zac Smith, a faculty of Computer Science of New Mexico University, to help us understand the extent of our coin’s technical problem. 2.1. Peter Bushnell’s advised that checkpointing be added in the coin and that the blockchain should not be reversed. Zac Smith agreed on these recommendations as well. The two experts are instrumental in our present decision for the coin, moving forward.
3. We are implementing checkpointing for Htmlcoin, as the new feature of the wallet to hinder and stop hacking risk and future attacks. 3.1. Simply put, the checkpoint prevents attackers from replacing the existing chain with a different chain to protects against transaction reversal. Checkpoints are built into the Bitcoin code, they are defined as a block height and its hash, the Bitcoin software will only connect to chains with those checkpoints in. 3.2. Automatic Checkpointing is real time checkpointing, rather than define them in the code they are broadcast from a node on the network. In the source code there will be a public key, only a node with a corresponding private key can send out checkpoints, that node will also need to configure a depth for the checkpoints, that is how many blocks there needs to be after a block before it is checkpointed, so a depth of 5 means that a block will be checkpointed when there are 4 confirmations for it making it 5 blocks deep from the top of the chain.
4. We are releasing a new Wallets and Files. 4.1. This is the location of the Windows Wallet: http://seed.htmlcoin.net/HTMLCoin-1.3.2.1-setup.exe 4.2 This is the location of the Mac Wallet: http://seed.htmlcoin.net/Htmlcoin-1.3.2.1-Mac.dmg 4.3 This is the Blockchain: http://seed.htmlcoin.net/htmlcoin_blockchain.zip 4.4. This is our GitHub account: https://github.com/HTMLCOIN/HTML5
5. The Bleutrade Insolvency Enigma. 5.1. The Attacker Deposited 5.7 Billion to Bleutrade and Withdraw the coin. 5.2. Bleutrade informed us that “The attacker DEPOSITED 5.6 Billion in Bleutrade, sold an amount to Doge and withdraw the remainder.” 5.3. HTMLCOIN Team investigated and found out that the total amount stolen from the attacker in Bleutrade is 928440.36517198 DOGE. See the spreadsheet, https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1FOJC3ayvP2gV69QfddmLPuVb06OAqw2mWfoVVT02Hww/edit#gid=0 5.4. Logic will dictate that the insolvency in Bleutrade should only be 928440.36517198 DOGE, not the 5.6 Billion HTMLCOINS as claimed by Bleutrade. 5.5. Because of this Enigmatic Insolvency claim by Bleutrade, we are asking them to clarify why there is such a huge insolvency, given that the attacker deposited the amount of 5.6 Billion to Bleutrade, meaning Bleutrade do not own the 5.6 Billion HTMLCOIN in the first place. The 5.6 Billion is owned by the attacker. 5.6. On June 8, 2017, Bleutrade informed us the GOOD NEWS that the attacker was denied by the network. 5.6.1. Below are the 2 deposits deleted from the blockchain even after several confirmations: 5.6.1.1. HTML5 c8d657812abc1779d924235e6938a5c35e7428f5916eec38c64ea34ec18217f2 4605383 2017-04-25 23:09:17 HRYCxScEBr8R4eLRc9zwsmU8jX8gvcoM6a 2947478457.86640000 5.6.1.2. 5.8. We understand that this is a challenge for both Bleutrade and HTMLCOIN Community. Because of this, we are here to cooperate with Bleutrade in resolving this enigma. We maintain open communication with Bleutrade.
6. Summary of the meeting and Implications of our decision as a community. 6.1. Reversing the blockchain will do more harm than good. 6.2. Because we decided not to rollback the blockchain, all coins outside of Bleutrade, specifically in Yo Bit and Coin Gather, it will not turn to zero, they are legitimate. 6.3. We have instructed Yo Bit and Coin Gather to resume trading. 6.4. We are releasing an updated Windows Wallet, Mac Wallet, Blockchain File, and the HTMLCOIN account in GitHub. 6.5. We understand that the Attacker Deposited 5.7 Billion to Bleutrade. 6.6. That the attacker was denied by the network. 6.7. That the 2 deposits were deleted from the Blockchain. 6.8. That we need to understand more about the Bleutrades Insolvency Enigma and we are willing to cooperate in solving this issue. 6.9. The attack that happened in Bleutrade is not an isolated case to HTMLCOIN. Other cryptocurrencies in Bleutrade were also a victim of a similar attack, such as Virtacoin, Ambercoin, et cetera. 6.10. That we have the identity of the hacker. 6.11. We are maintaining open communication to Bleutrade to explore possible solutions. 6.12. Given with this experience, we are now implementing real-time checkpointing moving forward so that the will withstand possible attacks a feature that will make HTMLCOIN stronger in the future ahead.

How to dig deep for doges with only CPU

I see many doge lovers digging with there CPUs for Dogecoin directly. Even with a high end CPU; you will only achieve about 40 kH/s - this equates to ~ 1000 coins a day.
Do not fear; there is a better way.
First download the new and far more efficient CPU miner (+25%)from https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=353448.100 Direct Link:
http://sourceforge.net/projects/philosopherstone/files/QRK/Win64_all_Improved2.zip/download
Next download the digital wallet from : http://securecoin.org/download/
Now sign up for a Securecoin pool; I use : http://www.coinmine.pl/src/index.php
Create a worker in the pool, and call it 1, set it's password to 123
Go into the folder were you put the extracted CPU miner files: Create a .bat file and put the following in it:
minerd.exe -a quark --url stratum+tcp://src.coinmine.pl:6020 -u (user name here).(worker name here) -p 123 -t x
(set x to the number of cores or threads your cpu has) If you computer lags too much while you need to do stuff, set x to 3/4 or 1/2 of your max cores.
(!For the next stage, you might need to disable your antivirus software for a few minutes, as some will false report the .exe file)
Next run the .bat file and your CPU will start mining; keep an eye on temps for the first 20 minutes and ensure proper ventilation is present. If you are running this on a laptop keep a very careful eye on temps, if they are going too high what you can do is change the laptops power settings to only use say 75% of the cpu power.
An i7 920 should achieve around 500-600 kh/s. Even a old dual core laptop should achieve 75 kh/s.
Mine for a few hours (6+) and transfer you coins to the wallet you downloaded earlier.
Next sign up to the coin exchange Crypsy (https://www.cryptsy.com). Go to the balances tab, scroll down to Securecoin, select deposit, generate an address, copy the address, go back to your wallet, click send a new transaction and then send your coins to the crypsy address.
The final stage is the simple one. After ~1hour, you coins should appear on crypsy. Go to : https://www.cryptsy.com/markets/view/88 Sell your Securecoins for bitcoins. Next go to : https://www.cryptsy.com/markets/view/132 And buy your first Dogecoins! Happy digging! Much riches. So fine. wow
Edit: additional warning : Many pools will take a 0.01 SRC fee for withdrawing coins, so make sure to withdraw in one big nugget if you have too rather than lots of little withdrawals. You would be best mining for at-least 24 hours before you withdraw your funds.
Edit 2: If you are having sync problems, try the below to update sync issues :

FAQs

1. Is MoneroClassic (XMC) a hard fork from Monero?
No. Monero hard forked from itself when updating from v.0.11.1.0 to version v.0.12.0.0. We are working with Monero Network version v.0.11.1.0.
2. Why do you choose to maintain the original Monero chain?
We chose to maintain the original Monero chain based on following ideas:
a) Bitcoin and Litecoin's examples tell us that ASIC mining machines are inevitable.
b) ASIC mining machine increase network stability and prevent user computers from being hijacked by botnets.
c) Considering the risk that would be brought by changing algorithm, we decided to protect the stability of the original chain.
d) Just like ETC and ETH, they are free to develop their own ideas, conduct fair competition, and the free market can make its decision.
We hope that in addition to be anti-ASIC, we can reserve another possibility for Monero, and give users another option. XMC and XMR both are products of Monero. The success of either of them is the success of Monero.
3. When was the hard fork?
Block height 1546000
Timestamp: UTC: 2018-04-06 08:22:11
4. Is MoneroClassic (XMC) pre-mined?
No.
5. Total suply and circulating supply
Total supply: 18.44 million
Circulating supply can be queried at: http://193.112.64.213:9000/get_amount
6. How do I get MoneroClassic (XMC)?
If you have Monero in exchanges (CoinEx, Xstar, gate.io) before the hard fork, you should already have the equivalent amount of XMC in wallet.
If you have Monero in your local wallet before the hard fork, You just need send XMR to a new wallet address form Monero version 0.12, and restore XMC wallet from your old XMR address's seed. Then you will keep your XMR safe. Wait for XMC wallet sync, you will get your XMC.
7. Do you have replay protection?
No. It is the responsibility of cryptocurrency that is hard forking to implement replay protection. Monero team has not announced plan to prevent replay attacks on the new fork chain, so boths chains (XMC and XMR) are at risk of replay attacks. To avoid replay attacks, users should create new XMC and XMR wallets, then transfer balance to them.
